Scarpa Vapour Lace

The Scarpa Vapour has been updated and redesigned to be stiffer than the old version. It isn’t just the lace-up version of the Vapour. It’s an edging machine, perfect for technical face climbing on tiny edges or long multi-pitches where you still need precision and control. The Vapour uses Vibram XS Edge improved firmness for the most challenging edging moves. The Vapour has a narrower heel than the Vapour V. The midsole has also been extended around the sides of the edges of the shoe; to make the shoe stiffer without having to sacrifice sensitivity. The lace uses the new PAF heel system which pushes the foot towards the front of the shoe, making them more precise on the toe while spreading the load on the heel.

**Features**

– UPPER: Multi panel upper, made of dual ply Lorenzi microfibre. Leather panels wrap the toes and the base of the foot. TPU laminate limits stretch and provides lacing support.

– TECHNOLOGIES: the D2 rubber seamlessly joins the softer M50 rubber over the toes with a more supportive rubber around the front of the foot to increase comfort and provide better toe precision. The PAF system distributes pressure evenly across the heel zone avoiding pressure on the Achilles tendon.

– SOLE: Full length Vibram® XS Edge arch supporting sole.
