Scarpa Maestro Alpine

The Scarpa Maestro Alpine is an all-day trad and multi-pitch shoe with a thermal sock to keep your feet warm in winter or alpine conditions. Its straight and slightly downturned shape with a medium-to-low angled toe box lends itself to technical face climbing on micro holds. The Talyn midsole actively spreads the foot’s force over the entirety of the shoe to prevent painful hotspots after extended periods of climbing, and the IPC-Tension rand supports the foot when stood on micro holds and small edges. The extra internal layer and thermic sock on the inside and addition of a leather upper are designed to provide extra insulation and protection without hindering performance and sensitivity, like wearing a sock would.

– The IPC-tension system helps maintain the strength of the foot during micro foothold use

– The full length Vibram XS Edge rubber sole unit gives excellent stability for micro crystals and edges

– The 2mm Vibram XS Grip 2 rubber inlay in the heel unit gives further structural support and tension to the shoe while helping maintain comfort level
