Scarpa Instinct S

Adding to the already widely loved and adored Instinct family, the Instinct S is a high-performing and versatile climbing shoe built for steep athletic, awe-inspiring rock routes and indoor bouldering.
The most flexible version of the Instinct collection, the Scarpa Instinct S boasts brand-new CTS Technology. A large rubber cover above the toe area offers a powerful toe-hooking platform, whilst an in-built heel cup provides sensitive heel-hooking. A slightly asymmetrical and downturned shape with a medium angled toe box makes the Instinct S a machine when it comes to technical and precise footwork.
The Instinct S’s five paneled microfibre upper, REB re-inforced elastic closure with seamless big toe panel and seamless four-toe panel offer a bespoke, comfortable fit, whilst the upper sits on a 1mm half-length Flexan insert,p which spreads the force in the forefoot and allows for excellent flexibility in the rear of the shoe.
Grip comes from a full ultra-sticky M50 rubber on the top of the toes and heel cup massively improve hooking and camming, and this combines perfectly with the 3.5mm three-quarter length XS Grip 2 sole to offer some of the highest levels of performance available on the steep stuff.
